How to make
Dissolve the yeast in part of the water, gently warmed, with the sugar. Allow it to activate and add the remaining water, egg, oil, salt and flour. Beat with a mixer – form a sticky and soft dough. Cover the container and leave in a warm place to rise until doubled in volume - about an hour or so.
Preheat oil in a deep pan or deep fryer, dip your spoon in it, scoop from the dough and drop the fritters in the preheated oil. Fry the fritters on both sides and drain them on a cooking grid or paper towel.
Make the honey glaze in dish on the stove by melting the honey with the water, cinnamon and lemon juice. Do not let it boil, just warm it up.
Dip each fritter in the honey syrup and arrange them in a plate.
