How to make
Grind the nuts. Put them in a food processor or blender with the torn leaves of basil, mint and salvia. Add the finely chopped onion, chopped olives and blend everything to homogeneity.
While blending nonstop, top up oil and, if desired, increase its quantity. Finally, mix the basil paste with the grated parmesan or a hard cheese.
Add salt to taste and add a little freshly ground black pepper. You can make the basil paste with basil leaves only if you like.
