Ingredients

  • pork liver - 1.5 lb (700 g)
  • onions - 3 - 4 medium - sized onions
  • oil
  • salt
  • black pepper

How to make

The prepared pork liver is soaked for several hours in cold water, because of the blood. Strain it and cut it into pieces like steaks, not very thick.

Peel an onion and cut it into crescents. Pour it into a baking pan, season it with salt and drizzle it with oil. Mix everything.

The strained liver is rolled in flour and arranged on the onion. Do not add salt. Drizzle it with oil and sprinkle it with black pepper and bake it until it aquires a brown color.

Take out the baking pan and turn the liver over. Add salt and place it back into the oven to bake it on the other side. This way the baked liver becomes very juicy and tasty.

If desired, you can add a tomato salad to the roasted pork liver with onions.
