measures

How to make

Wash the pork and cut it into pieces, unless the pork belly is cut when purchased.

Put the meat in baking pan. Season it with black pepper, a little grated nutmeg and salt.

Peel the onions and cut them into slices. Arrange them on top of the meat. Add the peeled garlic.

Add the chopped butter and pour the beer. Cover the baking pan with aluminum foil and place it in a non preheated oven.

Set it to 480°F (250°C) and roast for 10 minutes. Then reduce the heat to 360°F (180°C) and roast for another 90 minutes.

Towards the end, remove the foil to cook the meat, until it aquires a golden color.

The roasted pork belly with onions and beer is very tasty.
