How to make
The three types of pepper spices are mixed and the pork belly is rubbed well with them. Other spices can be used if you like. The meat is left for 2 hours to absorb the aromas.
Place it in a tray and lightly grease it with oil. Pour 1 2/3 cups (400 ml) of water and cover the tray with aluminum foil.
The pork belly is roasted for 30 minutes at 430°F (220°C). After that, the oven is reduced to 360°F (180°C) and the roasting continues for another 60 minutes.
The foil is lifted carefully and then the meat is salted. If desired, the tender roasted pork can be brushed with honey.
Cook it, until it has nicely browned and serve it with a fresh seasonal salad or another side dish for meat.
