How to make
Grind the brown sugar in a blender or coffee grinder. The apple peel and plum pieces are added to it and are also grinded, but into coarser pieces.
To this mixture add the crushed cornflakes, oat bran, oatmeal, chia or sesame seeds and agave syrup.
Transfer them into a pot, add the vanilla sugar and heat it for 3 minutes over medium heat, while stirring constantly. Levae it to cool and mix it with the lightly beaten egg whites.
Preheat the oven to 360°F (180 degrees) and pour the mixture and smooth it out in a baking pan covered with baking paper. Slight cuts are made, which mark the bars in the shape you want. The classic shape is 3.5x1.2″ (9x3 cm) rectangles.
Bake them for about 30 minutes, depending on the thickness. Keep an eye on them and as soon as they turn brown at the edges, take them out of the oven and let them cool completely for at least 30 minutes.
Break up the bars along the marked areas and consume them preferably in the morning, in order to have more energy throughout the day.
Enjoy your meal!
* The thinner they are, the crunchier they will turn out. If your bars remain softer even after you cool them, you can dry them in a low heated oven for 10-15 minutes.
