How to make
Wash the beetroot and peel the heads. Using a grater or mandoline, cut the beetroot into thin circles (1-2 mm thick).
Drizzle with olive oil and if the amount indicated is too little, add more fat. Season with salt and mix well to flavor each slice.
If you wish, you can also add spices of your choice - oregano, thyme or whatever you like, but do not overdo it, so that the natural taste of the root vegetable can be felt.
Prepare three trays and line them with baking paper. Arrange the beetroot circles, but without overlapping them.
Bake them in an oven heated to 320°F (160°C) (with a fan) for 15-20 minutes. When the chips become crispy, they are ready. Allow them to cool well.
Serve the Vegetable Chips with a sauce or dip of your choice.
Note that it is not a good idea to stack the chips before they have completely cooled, since they will soften and not be as crunchy.
