How to make
Warm up the milk. Add the yeast, 3-4 tablespoons sugar, 3-4 tablespoons flour. Leave the mixture aside for about 10 minutes to rise.
Mix the flour, eggs (excluding one yolk), oil, vanilla and 3-4 tablespoons sugar with the ready mixture. Knead a dough and leave it to rise for 30-35 minutes. Once it rises, knead it again and divide it into 4 equal-sized balls.
Leave the balls on the table with oil to loosen a bit. Roll them out into sheets, and cut them into triangles (with a thickness of about 1/2″ (1 cm)). Add jam (a thicker one if possible) and roll them up.
Beat the set aside yolk with a little oil and use it to spread on the buns. Sprinkle them with sugar and leave to rise slightly.
Bake at 390°F (200 °C) initially and gradually turn up the heat to 480°F (250 °C).
