Preparation of the cream: Boil the water with the sugar. Then add the jam, almonds, lemon juice and rum to taste. Stir well....

Add the oil, flour and the yogurt with salt added in it.
Stir into a homogeneous mixture. Add the jam and walnuts at the end....

Optionally, you can smear the finished cake with a little rum, mixed with powdered sugar, by using a brush, or just sprinkle it with powdered sugar...

Top the cake with a warm frosting, made by boiling the sugar into a thick syrup.
On the sides, stick on the rest of the sliced almonds....

Add the chopped walnuts, baking soda, cinnamon and enough flour to get the density of a cake dough....

Store it in the refrigerator or serve the finished walnut cake with custard immediately....

Smear the cake with cream on the top and sides and make a decoration of walnuts as you like....

Cover the tray with baking paper and place the cake with pineapple to bake in a pre-heated {180 °C} oven. Optionally, serve with powdered sugar....

Having caught a light crust on top, check if the cake is baked using a toothpick.
While still warm, sprinkle it with plenty of powdered sugar....
