"Feel like making a cake by any chance? Because I`ve got an extra jar of jam."

Ingredients

  • sugar - 4/5 cup (200 g)
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • milk - 2/5 cup (100 ml)
  • eggs - 1
  • jam - 1 cup
  • walnuts - 1/2 cup ground
  • baking soda - 1 tsp
  • cinnamon - 1 tsp
  • flour
  • powdered sugar - to sprinkle

How to make

Beat the eggs with the sugar, add the oil, and jam, mixed with the milk ahead of time. The milk in this recipe can be substituted with 2 finely grated apples.

Add the chopped walnuts, baking soda, cinnamon and enough flour to get the density of a cake dough. Pour the mixture into greased and floured cake mold and bake in a preheated oven at 390°F (200 °C).

Sprinkle the ready cake with jam with powdered sugar.
