Ingredients

  • red wine - 3 1/5 cups (750 ml)
  • cinnamon - 1 stick
  • honey - 2 tbsp
  • bacon - 7 oz (200 g) smoked
  • chicken drumsticks - 12.

  • cloves - 3 - 4 heads
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • flour - 2 tbsp
  • broth - 1 1/5 cups (300 ml)
  • mushrooms - 8 oz (225 g)

How to make

Boil the wine with honey, a cinnamon stick and cloves. Leave it to simmer to reduce liquid by 1/3, then remove the spices. Fry bacon until crispness, remove subtract it, and in the same oil fry the legs until golden.

When ready, place them and the bacon in a warm place, place the garlic in the oil and add the onions and fry them briefly. When they acquire a golden hue, add flour and fry 1 more minute, stirring constantly. Legs and bacon are put in a dish and flavored with wine and broth and stirred.

Transfer to an oven pan with a lid and cook for a few minutes in a preheated 360°F (180 °C) oven. The lid is removed and baked for 30 minutes.
