The only real nuisance in the recipe is the cleaning of the pumpkin itself.

So arm yourself with patience and a suitable knife - choose one with a larger blade. First, wash the pumpkin well because you'll be baking it with the crust. If it's too large, wash it after you've cut it. Cut it into several large pieces and begin removing the seeds; you can keep and roast them later.

Cut the thoroughly cleaned pumpkin into smaller pieces – as desired. Put baking paper in a suitable tray and arrange the pumpkin pieces next to each other. Heat the oven to 390°F (200 °C). Put 2 tbsp of honey onto each pumpkin piece – the amount of honey depends on how sweet you want it, you can use less.

Next, sprinkle each piece with cinnamon, add a few walnuts (finely chopped), add enough water to cover the bottom of the tray and cover it with aluminum foil. Put it in the oven and bake about an hour, then remove the foil and crisp the pieces.

Let us offer you another remarkable recipe for pumpkin – you will need 1 lb of it, honey, about 1-2 tbsp of cinnamon and 1 tbsp water. Mix together the honey, water and cinnamon in a pot and let the mixture come to a boil, then remove from the stove.

Then smear this mixture over the pieces of pumpkin that have been washed and chopped ahead of time. Smear the pieces on all sides, put the tray in the oven and bake about 30-40 min. at 480°F (250 °C).
