Date and Nut Candy Recipe
This date and nut candy recipe offers the opportunity for variety in the individual options for its preparation, as the dried fruit can be replaced with another and instead of coconut shavings, some seeds can be added - chia, flax or hemp seeds.
Experimentation not only provides variety, but also helps to find the optimal date candy recipe for every taste.
Ingredients needed for date and nut candies:
- ½ cup dates
- ½ cup dried apricots or other fruit
- ½ cup almonds or other nuts
- ½ cup walnuts or other nuts
- ¼ cup coconut shavings
- 2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- A few drops of vanilla essence or the peel of ½ grated orange
- Sesame seeds or coconut shavings for decoration
Preparation:
Put all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth.
Scoop 1 tablespoon of the mixture and use your hands to shape the candies.

Required products:
- 12 dates
- 90 grams of walnuts
- 2 full spoons of sesame tahini
- ½ spoon of cinnamon
The nuts and dates are chopped very finely, they are mixed with tahini and cinnamon and the mixture is shaped into balls. To decorate the healthy treats, they can be rolled in coconut shavings.
