How to make
Wash and cut off the top of the pumpkin with the handle, remove the seeds and soft part of the pumpkin, salt it lightly and leave it aside.
Soak the plums in warm water and cut the meat into cubes.
Cut the onion into coarse crescents, braise the meat lightly in a deep pan first, then add the onions and braise them too. Season with all of the spices and fill the pumpkin with the meat, onions and plums.
Cover with a lid and put it to bake in a moderate oven. Bake until the pumpkin and meat get a nice crisp.
