Pierre Dukan is a nutritionist who, for more than 30 years, has been the most widely read diet author in France. He wrote 19 books, the most famous of which is "I don't know how to lose weight".

The nutritional regime that Dukan offers is based on several basic rules:

- Eat as much as you want from the permitted foods;

- Don't count calories;
