Flax is a plant, which has long been used for yarn and dietary oil. The garments made of it are characterized by high strength and durability, high hygroscopicity and thermal conductivity and are environmentally friendly.
Flax seeds are used in folk medicine as a cure and natural therapy of various diseases, as well as for culinary purposes.
Flaxseed oil is a dietary product, a source of essential fatty acids, which the body cannot synthesize on its own.
The benefits of flaxseed:
1. The cleansing properties of flaxseed help to remove toxins, parasites and products of their vital activity from the body;
2. Polyunsaturated fatty acids from the Omega-3, 6 and 9 groups, whose content in flaxseed oil is higher than in fish oil, are important for the growth and development of a young organism and the proper functioning of the cardiovascular system;
3. Omega-3 has the ability to dilute the blood, which is a good prevention of thrombosis, atherosclerosis and diseases of the blood vessels and heart;
4. Omega-6 is a common ingredient in most meat and fatty foods of animal origin. Excessive use can cause obesity, high cholesterol, heart attack and diabetes. Neutralize this effect with the basic fatty acids of Omega-3, which in flax seeds contain 19 g per 100 g of seeds;
5. Selenium in the seeds restores the deficiency of this trace element in the body, which is often observed in residents of large cities, as well as in those who consume a lot of carbohydrate foods. Selenium protects nucleic acids from destruction, reduces the risk of cancer and cardiovascular disease;
6. Potassium is the other ingredient in flaxseed, which is vital to humans. With its help the cellular transport is possible, it is necessary for the normal functioning of all human organs and systems. With potassium deficiency, heart rhythm disorders, edema, kidney problems and urinary problems are observed. In the composition of flax seeds, when recalculated to dry weight, potassium is higher than that in bananas, which are recommended for use in deficiency of this trace element;
7. Lecithin and vitamin B in flaxseed protect nerve cells from damage, prevent the development of mental illness, postpartum depression and depression in general;
