Ingredients

  • pig ears - 21 oz (600 g)
  • butter - 2/5 cup (100 g)
  • soy sauce - light
  • salt
  • black pepper
  • potatoes - 17.5 oz (500 g) blanched
  • oil - for frying

How to make

Clean the pig ears and boil them in salted water until softened. Cut the boiled pig ears into small pieces. Heat the butter in a griddle pan and add the ears.

Fry while stirring nonstop. At the halfway mark during cooking, add 3-4 tbsp light soy sauce. Season with ground black pepper.

Remove the fried ears from the heat and let them sit for a bit in the resulting sauce.

Heat the oil and fry the potatoes until golden.

Serve the pig ears with a garnish of fried blanched potatoes.
