Ingredients

  • puff pastry - 16 oz (450 g)
  • butter - 1 1/5 cups (300 g)
  • confectionery cream - 2/3 cup (150 ml)
  • pudding - 3 packets, without boiling
  • milk - 3 cups (700 ml)
  • condensed milk - 1/2 cup (130 ml)
measures

How to make

Lay out the puff pastry. Cut it into thin strips widthwise. Arrange the strips in an oven dish, laid out with baking paper. Bake in a heated oven until golden. Leave them to cool.

Beat the butter with a mixer (butter needs to be at room temperature). Add the condensed milk and continue beating until homogeneous.

Beat the puddings with the milk to a thick, fluffy mixture.

Beat the confectionery cream with the mixer until thickened.

Combine the 3 mixtures and beat until homogeneous.

Lay out a piece of plastic wrap. Smear a layer of the cream. Arrange 4-5 puff pastry strips on it. Set aside 5 of the strips, for decoration. Smear with cream on top. Continue in this order until out of ingredients. Be sure to finish off with cream.

Use the foil to wrap it up, press and form a roll. Leave it as is for 12 hours in the fridge.

Once ready, crumble the remaining puff pastry strips and sprinkle them on top. Cut it and serve.
