How to make
Let the yeast bubble in warm milk with a little sugar and flour.
Beat the eggs with the sugar very well. Sift the flour and add some of the milk mixture, then melted lard, the activated yeast, milk mixture again and so on, while stirring with a spoon until thickened.
Continue to stir by hand and knead a nice, stretchy dough. Hit it on the counter several times and put it in a bowl in a warm area to rise.
Next, make small balls from it. Roll out each one in the form of a rounded triangle, put a little jam in it and roll it up. Arrange them in an oven dish some distance apart, leave them to rise.
Smear them with beaten egg yolk with milk and oil, sprinkle generously with sugar and bake at 340°F (170 °C).
