  • cabbages - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • salt - 3 tbsp
  • onions - 1 head
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • black pepper - 1/2 tsp
  • vinegar - 3 tbsp
  • chili peppers - 1 tbsp, ground

How to make

Cut the cabbage into thin strips, salt it and leave it for several hours.

Finely chop the garlic and onions and mix them with the cabbage, along with the black pepper, chili peppers and vinegar.

Stuff it tightly in a jar or clay pot and put something heavy on top of the lid. Leave it for 2-3 days and then it's ready for consumption.
