"Get away from the usual, by betting on a fresh new side dish of baby carrots"

Ingredients

  • baby carrots - 1 lb (450 g), frozen
  • garlic - 5 - 6 cloves
  • parsley - 4 - 5 stalks
  • olive oil - 6 tbsp.
  • balsamic vinegar - 2 tbsp.
  • honey - 1 tbsp. liquid (optional)
  • tabasco - 6 - 7 drops (or by taste)
  • ginger powder - 1 pinch
  • salt - 2 pinches (or by taste)
measures

How to make

Take the baby carrots out of the freezer and leave them to defrost slightly, but you don't have to wait for them to defrost completely.

Cut the garlic cloves into large slices and chop the parsley leaves.

In a baking pan, mix the carrots with the olive oil, balsamic vinegar, ginger powder, salt and chopped garlic and parsley. Add honey, only if the dish with which you will garnish with carrots allows it. For example, if you are going to use them as a side dish for roasted meat.

Distribute the contents into the baking pan evenly in a thin layer, not a pile.

Bake the baby carrots in a preheated oven at 360°F (180 degrees) for about 20 minutes or less if you want them to remain slightly crunchy.

Enjoy your meal!
