"An eye-catching appetizer with phyllo pastry sheets that you`ll make in 15 min. or so."

Ingredients

  • peppers - 1 red + 1 yellow
  • olives - 4.5 oz (125 g), marinated
  • feta cheese - 4.5 oz (125 g)
  • pine nuts - 2 tbsp
  • phyllo pastry - 6 sheets
  • olive oil - 3 tbsp

How to make

Heat the oven to 356°F (180 °C). Cut the peppers and remove the seeds. Bake them for 10 min., place them in a plastic bag and peel them after a little while.

Dice the olives and feta into small cubes. Put them in with the peppers and pine nuts.

Cut one of the phyllo pastry sheets in half and smear with a little olive oil. Put in some of the filling and carefully crush the upper part so as to form a basket.

Put it in the middle of the other phyllo pastry sheet half and smear the edges with a little olive oil so that they stick to each other. Make the remaining baskets in this way and bake them in a heated for 10-15 min.
