How to make
Peel half the apples, remove the cores, dice them and pour 3 tbsp of water over them. Add the cinnamon, half the red wine and boil everything until the apples soften.
Blend everything, add 2/3 of the sugar. Add the strawberry jam, bring everything to a boil and let it cool. Make dumplings as follows: peel the remaining apples, grate them finely, pour in the white wine, remaining sugar, the eggs and grated baguette. The result is a thick dough.
Divide the soup into 2 halves and boil 1 half. Use a teaspoon to drop dough pieces into the boiling soup and boil the dumplings for 7 min.
Take them out and let them cool. Combine both halves of the soup and add in the remaining red wine. Once cooled, drop in the dumplings and serve the soup cold.
