How to make
Wash the tomatoes and cut them into slices. Clean the peppers of seeds and cut them into small pieces. Peel the onion and chop it finely.
Combine the vegetables and parboil them in an enameled saucepan with a lid. Remove the lid and boil the vegetables on low heat for about 35 minutes, then add the salt and sugar and continue to boil until you get the right density.
Pour into jars while still hot and close with caps.
