Ingredients

  • chickpeas - 1 cup boiled
  • avocado - 1 pc.
  • lemon juice - 3 tbsp. freshly squeezed
  • olive oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • garlic - 1 clove
  • basil - 1 handful of fresh leaves
  • salt

How to make

For this yummy avocado hummus I used boiled canned chickpeas that I washed and strained well.

I put the chickpeas, the fleshy part of 1 well-ripened avocado, a handful of fresh basil leaves, a clove of garlic, the freshly squeezed juice of 1/3 lemon and olive oil into the bowl of a blender and pureed until smooth.

Finally, I seasoned with salt to taste and put the hummus in a sealed container in the fridge for an hour to chill.

Enjoy the avocado hummus and pour yourself a glass of white wine :)
