Ingredients

  • beef minced meat - 0.9 lb (400 g)
  • onion - 1 onion
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • worcestershire sauce - 1 tbsp.
  • tomato sauce - 20 fl oz (600 ml)
  • pasta - 10.5 oz (300 g) penne or of choice
  • yellow cheese - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • cherry tomatoes - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • basil - 1 tsp
  • oregano - 1 tsp.
  • sugar - 1 pinch
  • oil - 2 tbsp.

How to make

Finely chop the onion and garlic. Heat the oil in a deep pan on the stove over medium heat. Lightly fry the onion and garlic for about 2 minutes.

Add the minced meat and fry, stirring and pressing with a spatula, until it crumbles and changes color, or about 10 minutes.

Add Worcestershire sauce, oregano, basil, tomato sauce and pinch of sugar. Reduce heat and boil the sauce for about 10 minutes until slightly reduced.

Meanwhile, cook the pasta according to manufacturer's instructions and strain. Pour half of the tomato sauce with minced meat on the bottom of a baking pan, pour the cooked pasta on top and the rest of the sauce on top.

Spread the grated yellow cheese on top and arrange the cherry tomatoes, cut in half. Bake in the oven for about 20 minutes at 390°F (200°C). Serve the casserole warm.
