Ingredients

  • walnuts - about 9 oz (250 g)
  • zucchini - 1 pc. /not very big/
  • garlic - according to taste / I put more because we love it /
  • carrots - 1 pc.
  • white cheese - about 7 oz (200 g)
  • olives - 10 pcs., pitted
  • lemons - 1/4 pcs.
  • basil - 10 leaves /or other greens, for example parsley, nettle, etc./
  • olive oil - 2 - 3 spoons
  • salt - to taste

How to make

The zucchini is cut into pieces and boiled. Then strain and put it in a blender. All other products are added raw and they are grinded in a blender.

In the absence of a blender, they should be crushed one by one in a wooden mortar, then mixed and seasoned with lemon juice, olive oil and salt.

And since I didn't have fresh green spices at hand today, I put in the pesto dried and ground into powder: basil, sedum, geranium - 3-4 pinches.
