"It reminds me of the delicious kebab that is made from a fresh pork shank"

Ingredients

  • pork shank - 2.2 lb (1 kg) boneless
  • leek - 3 stalks
  • spring onions - 4 stalks
  • oil - 1/2 cup
  • lemon - 1/2 pcs. the juice
  • salt
  • oregano
  • cumin
  • black pepper - to taste
measures

How to make

Wash and dry the leeks, divide them into two halves and cut them into larger pieces along with the spring onion stalks.

Cut the pork shank into pieces, add salt, black pepper, oregano, cumin to taste and mix.

In a large pan, heat the oil, over medium heat add the pork shank pieces and fry, until they have browned on all sides.

If the meat is not tender, add a cup of warm water and cook, until the pork kebab is tender and only fat remains. Add the chopped leeks and spring onions and fry them along with the meat, until the leeks soften.

Remove the pan from the heat and pour the freshly squeezed lemon juice of 1/2 lemon over the dish, stir and you're done.

Serve the fried pork with leeks and be quick if you want to try it :)
