How to make
Arrange the ingredients in the clay pot as follows: coarsely chopped leeks, onions cut into quarters, roundly sliced carrots, the pork shanks, prunes and then the rest of the solid ingredients.
At the very top, arrange the roundly sliced potatoes, add the spices, pour on the tomato juice, wine, oil and water.
Bake at 480°F (250 °C) for at least 2 hours. Be sure to place your clay pot in a cold oven and then heat up gradually.
