  • mackerel - 1.1 lb (500 g)
  • onion - 2 onions
  • carrots - 2 pcs.
  • celery - 2 stalks
  • garlic - 5 cloves
  • tomatoes - 3 pcs. from a jar
  • peppers - 2 pcs.
  • mushrooms - 7 oz (200 g)
  • olives - 3.5 oz (100 g)
  • black pepper - 1/4 tsp.
  • breadcrumbs - 2 tbsp.
  • paprika - 1 tsp.
  • oil - 2/5 cup (100 ml)

How to make

The mackerel is cut into 3 cm thick slices.

The cleaned and finely chopped vegetables are stewed for 5 minutes in the heated oil and the spices are added.

The washed and dried fish is salted and rolled in breadcrumbs. In a baking pan with a diameter of 16″ (40 cm), spread half of the vegetables, arrange the pieces of fish and pour the rest of the vegetables on them.

The fish with vegetables is baked in an oven heated to 390°F (200°C) for 20 minutes. The fish dish is ready.

The oven-baked fish casserole is very tasty.
