How to make
Beat the eggs with the sugar into a fluffy cream. Add the carbonated drink, baking powder, oil, vanilla, citrus essence, lemon peel, cream and mix.
Pour the flour and mix, until a homogenous mixture is obtained.
Separate 4 tbsp. from the mixture and mix with the cocoa.
Grease a sponge cake tin and pour half of the white mixture. Distribute the brown mixture over it with a spoon and cover it with the remaining white mixture.
Bake the sponge cake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for 40 minutes.
Leave the baked sponge cake to cool slightly and turn it over onto a plate.
Sprinkle with a little powdered sugar.
