How to make
Soak the gelatin in water according to instructions on the package and leave it to swell.
If necessary, strain the strawberry juice, so that there are no seeds and put it in a pot on the hob along with the powdered sugar. Add the freshly squeezed lemon juice, rum (optional) and finally the gelatin.
Stir, until it is dissolved, but do not leave the liquid to boil at all. Remove it from the heat and leave it to cool.
Distribute the cleaned and chopped strawberries into dessert bowls - the quantity is optional. Pour the juice over them and put the bowls in the refrigerator, until a jelly is obtained.
Serve the strawberry jelly garnished with fresh strawberries and optionally with mint leaves.
