Ingredients

  • hake - 2 fillets (240 g each)
  • tomatoes - 2 pcs. medium - sized
  • green peppers - 1 - 2 pcs.
  • field mushrooms - 8 pcs.
  • garlic - 2 cloves
  • olive oil - for drizzling
  • butter - 0.6 oz (18 g)
  • salt - by taste
measures

How to make

Wash and dry the fish fillets. Leave them at room temperature while you prepare the vegetables.

Wash the tomatoes and peppers and cut them into slices. Clean the mushrooms well from the dirt with a brush and peel or wash them very quickly, so that they do not absorb excess water and become tasteless. Slice them thinly, along with the stumps. Cut the garlic into thin slices.

In a lightly greased pan over high heat, seal the tomatoes and pepper slices just enough to brown. Remove them and in the same pan put the mushrooms with the butter for 2 minutes. The vegetables will undergo another heat treatment, so do not fully cook them.

Spread out two large pieces of aluminum foil, grease it lightly and place the fish skin side down. On top of each hake fillet, place garlic first, salt, arrange the fried slices of pepper and tomato and tehn scatter the mushrooms. Drizzle with more olive oil and a little salt and seal with the foil, so that there are no gaps.

Place the baking pan in a 390°F (200°C) oven for 17 minutes. If your fillets are larger you may increase the time a bit.

Serve this quick, easy and delicious dish with a nice glass of white wine!

Enjoy your meal!
