"Mackerel in foil - both really tasty and you won`t make a mess."

Ingredients

  • mackerel - 4
  • lemons - 2
  • dill - several bunches
  • olive oil - 3 1/3 tbsp (50 ml)
  • salt
  • black pepper
measures

How to make

Clean the fish, remove the tails, head and take out the insides. Wash them, salt and season with black pepper.

Take 4 sheets of aluminum foil. Smear each one with a little olive oil, put 1 fish in the middle of each sheet.

Wash the lemons with a brush and hot water. Cut them into thin slices, remove the seeds, if any.

Open the fish up slightly, pour in a little olive oil, place 2-3 slices of lemon, several bunches of dill and sprinkle with black pepper again. Pour a little olive oil over the fish, fold the 4 sides of the foil toward the fish in order to get a nice package for baking.

Do this for all of the fish. Put them in an oven dish or directly on the metal grid of the oven and bake for 20 min. at 390°F (200 °C)

Serve in plates along with the foil.
