How to make
Clean the mussels. Put them with the shells in a large pot. Pour 2/5 cup (100 ml) of water and 2/5 cup (100 ml) of white wine. Add a pinch of chopped parsley and 3 cloves of garlic.
Place the pot on the stove and boil, until the shells open up. Stir occasionally.
Pour the breadcrumbs into a bowl, add a bunch of finely chopped parsley, a crushed clove of garlic and salt. Pour olive oil and mix, until the breadcrumbs are well moistened.
Line a large baking tray with baking paper. Place a generous pinch of the flavored breadcrumbs on top of each shell. Arrange the mussels in the tray.
At the bottom, pour a little of the liquid in which they were boiled. Bake at 360°F (180°C) in a preheated oven with a fan for 15 minutes.
Be careful not to overcook the mussels in the oven, or they will become dry.
Serve the baked mussels with breadcrumbs with lemon slices!
Enjoy!
