How to make
The yogurt and mayonnaise are placed in a bowl. Mix well, so that there are no lumps.
The garlic is peeled and pressed. Add it into the bowl.
Squeeze the lemon juice. It is added as well. Add salt and cayenne pepper.
The original recipe for this yogurt sauce is with saffron, but since I didn't have any available, I substituted it with curry.
When using saffron, the dose is 1 pinch and it is soaked in a little water.
Strain and use only the liquid for the sauce.
Curry or saffron is added. Mix well.
The Greek Sauce for Shrimp and Calamari is tried and tested and it's great.
