Ingredients

  • puff pastry - 1 sheet
  • minced meat - 1.3 lb (600 g)
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 onion (small)
  • black pepper
  • salt
  • parsley
  • savory herb
  • breadcrumbs - 2 tbsp.
  • eggs - 4 pcs. (boiled)
  • carrots - 1 pc. (boiled)
  • pickles - 1 pc.
  • yellow cheese - about 1.8 oz (50 g)
  • yolks - 1 pc. (for spreading)

How to make

Finely chop the parsley and onion. Put them in a bowl and add the minced meat, egg, breadcrumbs and spices. Knead the minced meat well.

Line a tray with baking paper and place the puff pastry in it. In the middle of the sheet, spread half of the minced meat lengthwise. Arrange the boiled eggs and the sliced carrot, cucumber and yellow cheese.

Cover with the remaining minced meat and form the meatloaf. Cut the excess dough into wide strips.

Cover it, by alternating strips left and right, to wrap the roll nicely. Beat the yolk and use a brush to coat the roll.

Bake in a preheated oven at 360°F (180°C) for about 35 minutes on the lowest rack.

Remove the finished meatloaf from the tray, leave it aside for about 5 minutes and then transfer it into a tray.
