Ingredients

  • pork tongue - 2.2 lb (1 kg)
  • oil - 3 tbsp.
  • spring onions - 5 stalks
  • peppers - 1 pc.
  • flour - 1 tbsp.
  • tomatoes - 1 tin (500 g)
  • white wine - 1/2 cup
  • paprika - for sprinkling
  • bay leaf - 2 pcs.
  • salt - 1 tsp.
  • black pepper - 1 tsp.
  • garlic - 3 cloves (chopped)
  • parsley - for sprinkling (finely chopped)

How to make

Clean the pork tongue and put it in a pot with a little salt to boil. This can also be done in a pressure cooker to shorten our time.

When ready, cut it into slices and sprinkle it with salt, black pepper and paprika.

Pour the oil into a pan and wait for it to heat up. Finely chop the onion, black pepper and parsley.

Fry the onion and peppers in the oil and add the flour to them and fry it.

Add the canned tomatoes and sprinkle with paprika

Pour the wine, add the bay leaf and leave the tomato sauce to boil. Finally, add the garlic and immediately remove it from the heat.

Serve, by arranging the tongue slices on the plate and pouring the sauce in the middle.

Sprinkle the stewed pork tongue with wonderful sauce with parsley on top.
