Ingredients

  • carp - 6.6 lb (3 kg)
  • salt - by taste
  • lemons - the juice of 1 lemon
  • for the breading
  • corn flour - 6 tbsp.
  • black pepper - by taste
  • paprika - 0.5 tsp.
  • beer - 1 cup
  • corn flour - for rolling

How to make

Clean and cut the carp into cutlets, season it with as much salt as you like and squeeze the lemon juice in the carp, stir and leave them for 1 hour in the refrigerator wrapped in cling film.

Prepare the breading by mixing a few spoonfuls of flour with black pepper, paprika, as much salt as you like, stir and dilute the dry mixture with beer, until a thick mixture is obtained.

In a small baking pan, pour (a lot) of corn flour.

Remove the fish and place it onto kitchen paper to drain the juice well.

Dip each piece of fish in the breadcrumbs, then roll them in flour and fry them in heated oil, until they aquire a fried brown color.

Arrange the fried fish onto kitchen paper, so that it can absorb the excess fat.

Serve the fish with your favorite side dish, salad or sauce for fried fish.
