How to make
Put the cold butter, cheddar, cottage cheese and broccoli in a blender. Blend for a few seconds, until a homogeneous paste is obtained.
Sift the flour into a bowl and add the paste and a pinch of salt.
Start kneading with your fingers, by first forming crumbs and then a full piece of dough will be obtained.
Tear balls, which should be a little bigger than a walnut and form them into long sticks with your palms. You can also use various fun molds for the crackers. Arrange them at a short distance from each other in a baking tray lined with parchment paper.
Bake the two batches in an oven preheated to 390°F (200 degrees), for 10-12 minutes or until they aquire a golden color. Keep an eye on them, because the baking time depends on the thickness of the cracker sticks. So make sure all of them have approximately the same thickness.
Leave them to cool slightly and serve them to your kids, so that they can enjoy this delicious treat. You can also use the cracker sticks for various aperitifs.
