Ingredients

  • tomatoes - 2 lb (1 kg)
  • butter - 1 packet
  • eggs - 10
  • cheese - 5.5 oz (150 g)
  • black pepper
  • salt - to taste

How to make

Cut off the tomato caps and carve out the insides. Drain the hollowed tomatoes, then arrange them in a buttered baking dish and add salt.

Each tomato gets a dab of butter and 1 egg. Bake for about 20 minutes in a medium heated oven.

Serve hot, sprinkled with grated cheese and crushed black pepper.
