Ingredients

  • tomatoes - 4
  • feta cheese - 1 cup, grated
  • butter - 1/5 cup (60 g)
  • garlic - 4 cloves
  • thyme - 4 - 5 bunches, fresh
  • basil - 5 bunches
  • cheese - for sprinkling
  • eggs - 4
  • parsley
  • paprika

How to make

Mix the grated feta cheese with the finely chopped garlic, thyme, paprika and basil. Cut off the tops of the tomatoes and remove the insides. Put some of the feta mixture in each tomato.

Bake them for 10 min. in a preheated moderate oven. Take them out of the oven, break an egg over each and put a piece of butter.

Bake 10 more minutes, sprinkle with parsley and cheese and once the cheese melts, remove from the oven and serve immediately.
