Ingredients

  • zucchini - 1 pc. (medium - sized)
  • eggs - 1 pc.
  • sesame seeds - for rolling (black and light)
  • olive oil - 3 - 4 tbsp.
  • lemon juice - 3 - 4 tbsp.
  • salt - by taste

How to make

The zucchini is washed, the edges are removed and it is cut along with the peel into about 3-4 mm thick circles.

Preheat the oven to 390°F (200 degrees) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

Dip each zucchini circle in a beaten egg and then roll them in a mixture of the two types of sesame seeds. Arrange them in a tray and drizzle them with olive oil, lemon juice and salt.

Put them in the preheated oven and bake them for about 10-15 minutes or until they aquire the desired color - you will know when they are ready by looking at the white sesame seeds, which will turn golden.

The zucchini with sesame seeds are served with a sauce of your choice or on their own, sprinkled with more lemon juice.

These baked zucchini are a quick, simple, but quite effective suggestion, which will beautify your table.
