How to make
This is a great spread, which is suitable for an appetizer or to spread on a slice of bread. It is quick and easy to prepare, with a very fresh taste and last but not least - it is healthy.
The unpeeled zucchini (only the edges are cut off) is cut into about half a centimeter thick slices.
Blanch them in boiling salted water for 5 minutes and leave them in a strainer to cool and drain well.
Put them in a blender with all the other ingredients - sesame and pumpkin seeds, garlic, processed cheese, mayonnaise, salt, dill, lemon juice and black pepper.
The products are initially blended at lower speed and gradually increased to medium, so that the spread doesn't suddenly stick to the sides of the blender jug.
The zucchini spread is blended, but not into a very smooth mixture. The pieces of nuts and sesame seeds should be felt.
Season it according to your taste with more salt, black pepper and lemon juice.
Serve the zucchini spread with sesame seeds and processed cheese well-chilled, sprinkled with more sesame seeds and olive oil if desired.
