How to make
For this very tasty fruit cake, first beat the eggs and sugar with a mixer.
Add the vanilla, salt, cocoa, walnuts and oil.
All products are mixed again with a mixer.
Pour the flour, to which we have added the baking powder.
Pour the cake mixture into a suitable baking pan.
The pears are washed and cut in half. Place the pear halves on the cake mixture.
The pear cake is baked at 360°F (180 degrees) for about 35 minutes.
Check the German pear cake with a toothpick, in order to see if it is well baked.
