  • eggs - 4
  • powdered sugar - 1 cup
  • milk - 1 cup
  • flour - 1 1/2 cups
  • butter - 1/2 cup (120 g)
  • pears - 2
  • baking powder - 1
  • vanilla - 1
  • confectionery cream - 2/5 cup (100 ml)

How to make

Separate the yolks from the whites. Mix the yolks well with the sugar. Gradually add the melted butter, milk and the flour sifted with the baking powder and vanilla.

Finally, mix gently with 2 beaten to snow egg whites. Pour the mixture into a greased and sprinkled with flour oven dish.

Bake till it turns rosy. Take the cake out of the oven and on top place thin slices of pears that you've boiled lightly in a sugar syrup.
