How to make

Beat the butter and sugar into a fluffy cream and add the eggs one at a time, constantly beating them. Gradually add the sifted flour with baking powder, vanilla and cinnamon. Stir the mixture well – it must form a thick sticky dough.

Beat all the topping products together and finally mix them with the cream. Distribute half of the dough in a tray, covered with baking paper, without trying to smooth it out. Arrange the cleaned prune halves, place the other layer of dough and another layer of prunes.

Pour the cream topping over the pie. Put the pie with prunes to bake in a heated 340°F (170 °C) oven for about 40 minutes. Keen an eye so the pie does not burn or remain raw. Let the baked pie with prunes cool and release it from the form and paper.

Serve the pie sliced.
