How to make
Heat the olive oil and butter, fry the garlic and sausage. After a few minutes, add the onion, carrot and celery. Once they soften, add both types of minced meat and stir until they start crumbling.
Add the milk and cook for 10 minutes. Add the tomato puree diluted in water and the finely chopped tomatoes. Add 4 cups (800 ml) of hot water and season with salt and black pepper.
Sprinkle with basil. The sauce is cooked for about an hour and a half and in the last minutes add the grated Parmesan cheese.
