How to make
Remove the stalks and seed the peppers. You can leave the seeds if you wish.
Cut the peppers into chunks, if they are large. Place them in a blender. Add the sugar, salt to taste, lemon zest and juice, crushed garlic and parsley or cilantro .
Blend the ingredients by adding the olive oil gradually. Once you achieve a homogeneous texture your chilli paste is ready.
Transfer it into a jar and preserve in the fridge.
