How to make
Boil the mushrooms in a saucepan with 1 bay leaf in the water and a few grains of black pepper. This gives extra flavour to the mushrooms.
Once the mushrooms soften, drain them from the water.
Arrange the mushrooms in a suitable tray, covered with baking paper sprinkled with oil.
Crush the garlic and mix it with 1 tsp. to obtain a mash, convenient to spread on mushrooms.
Spread the garlic mixture on the mushrooms, salt and sprinkle with dill.
Finally, add the butter, cut into pieces, on the mushrooms.
Bake at approx. 450°F (230 degrees) until the garlic gets a light golden color. It is not good for it to burn because it becomes bitter.
Sauteed mushrooms are a wonderful side dish for meat or rice.
